Arimidex 1mg is prescribed for post-menopausal women with advanced breast cancer, especially in cases where the disease has progressed despite anti-estrogen therapy.
Side Effects
Common side effects may include:
- Hot flushes (temporary facial redness)
- Sweating, vaginal irritation, hair thinning
- Gastrointestinal discomfort, muscle pain
- Fatigue, drowsiness, headache, rash
- Hair loss (alopecia), loss of appetite (anorexia)
- Sensory disturbances, joint and muscle pain
- Bone weakness (osteoporosis)
- Increased cholesterol levels (hypercholesterolemia), and vaginal bleeding
Warnings & Precautions
